“My wife, Diane, and I have three children; two boys & one girl; and nine grandchildren; seven girls, and two boys.

We recently moved to Kemper County Mississippi when I became Pastor of Bay Springs Baptist Church, Porterville, MS on February 2, 2009. Diane is a Registered Surgical Nurse. We are enjoying living in the country again, but we still have lots of work to do on our house in Slidell to prepare it for sale.

As BSBC’s Worship Pastor, Bro. Scott Wiggins plans and conducts our church worship services, directs our musical ensemble/choir, arranges holiday musical productions, is a solo vocalist, and occasionally steps in as substitute Sunday School teacher and lay speaker. He is also webmaster of bayspringsbaptist.org.

Bro. Scott has served BSBC as music director and song leader since 2003. In 2008, he earned a certificate of bivocational music ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bro. Scott previously served the church as youth minister from 2003-2004 and 2005-2010 and church clerk from 2005-2007.

A life-long resident of Porterville, MS, Bro. Scott graduated from Kemper Academy in DeKalb, MS, in 1996. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2002 and an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Meridian Community College in 2010. He also hosts a Sunday Morning Gospel, a local radio program on FM 97.1 WOKK, Meridian, MS (http://www NULL.wokk NULL.com).
