  1. Last Sunday Evening a good crowd watched “Flywheel.” If you missed it, I’d like to make it available to you. Just call or email me.
  2. The Budget & Finance Committee has set a goal of $2,000.00 for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. Please begin now to set aside your gift to this worthy cause.
  3. First Place, under the leadership of Mrs. Diane Rasberry, will begin meeting in the BSBC Fellowship Hall on Thursday April 2 at 6:00 P.M. Please contact Mrs. Rasberry at 985-640-1826 or ddrr@pobox.com for additional cost. There will be a charge for the cost of materials, however, scholarships are available so finances should not deter anyone from participating.
  4. On Sunday Evening, March 15, at 6:30; BSBC will have a “Town Hall Meeting” to discuss upcoming projects and the direction of the church. No official action will be taken at this meeting. It will be a discussion forum moderated by Pastor Mike and will meet in the Fellowship Hall. This is the time to present your ideas to Pastor and Mike and the Deacons. Among items to be discussed will be the construction of two Class rooms behind the Auditorium and the construction of the Sound Booth in the Auditorium. Other items include Outreach projects and Youth/Children projects and Senior Adult projects.
  5. On an upcoming Sunday Morning, ballots will be presented to the church membership with a “yes” or “no” choice and you will be asked to vote your sense of God’s leadership in the matter of the construction of the Sound Booth. The vote will be by ballot and one will simply check his preference. There will be no discussion at that time. All will have had sufficient time to discuss the project among themselves before hand. When approved, the project will proceed under the supervision of the Pastor and the Property & Grounds Committee.
  6. Sunday March 29 is a Fifth Sunday. Begin to prepare your music to share with the congregation that evening. Invite your friends to come and share with us also.
  7. April 12 is Easter. We will celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord by meeting for an outdoor worship at 6:30 AM followed by breakfast in the Fellowship Hall and Sunday School and Worship. There will be NO Sunday Evening Services.
  8. BSBC Kids Store will be open March 22 at the close of the morning worship hour. Those who have earned BSBC dollars will be able to redeem them at that time. We still need someone to take over leadership of that particular ministry.
  9. YOUTH PAINT BALL WAR date to be announced. Coming soon!!! The Young and Young at heart. Start telling your friends to be ready. Paintball guns are being tuned up  :-)
