God has graciously blessed us, and we want to take this means to express our appreciation for those blessings. He has directed our deliberations, and guided our actions while providing the necessary resources.

Bay Springs Baptist Church has a long history of God’s workings, and this new construction simply builds upon the selfless faithfulness of those who God worked through in years past to build and sustain this vibrant fellowship in these useful facilities.

The roll call of those who have faithfully labored in Christ’s service through this fellowship continues to expand with each succeeding generation, but each generation owes a debt to those who preceded them as they laid the firm foundation upon which to build.

Plan now to join us in this time of celebration.

The Ensemble practices every Sunday evening at 5:15 PM. Though the window of opportunity narrows as we get closer to the presentation, we are still open to anyone who wishes to participate in this musical program. Please contact Bro. Mike or Bro. Scott if interested, or just drop in for practice. We’ll be glad to see you there!

A Christmas cantata entitled, “The Christmas Song”, will be presented by the ensemble on Sunday, December 19 at 11AM. The program will be followed with the annual Christmas dinner. Members are asked to bring side dishes, beverages, and desserts, as the main course will be provided.

The Christmas Hayride will take place on Wednesday, December 22. Everyone is asked to meet at the church before 5PM to join the ride. Along the way, we will be delivering fruit baskets and Christmas cheer via caroling. Be sure to dress warmly, and pray that it doesn’t rain again this year!

The Kemper Baptist Association’s Men’s Ministry is sponsoring a fish fry at BSBC on Saturday, November 6, at 2:00 PM. Everyone is invited. BSBC people need to bring dessert and drinks. Fish and hush puppies are being provided. Look forward to seeing you there!

Join us from 9AM-3PM each day for some real-life horse rustling in the morning and Saddle Ridge VBS in the afternoon. Children aged 4-12 will learn horse-handling skills, social graces, and important spiritual truths designed to lead them to faith in Jesus Christ. Youth (aged 13-17) interested in participating may do so as Counselor Helpers.

Lunch will be provided, and there is no cost. All children will have to be registered prior to attending BSBC Summer Camp, and parents must fill out a release form before their children are allowed to ride. Call 985-290-7572 or email mike@bayspringsbaptist.org for info and/or registration.

Things kick off Friday night at 6:15PM and will pick back up at 9:15AM the following morning. After lunch in the Fellowship Hall, the conference will continue until 2:30PM.

Visiting with us will be Joe and Estelle Dunn of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Albany, LA. Bro. Joe will be bringing the revival sermons Sunday at 11AM and 6:30PM and Monday through Wednesday at 6:30PM. Please be in prayer for the Dunns as they prepare to meet at BSBC that week, and be sure to pray for their own church in the midst of our own service week.

Throughout revival week, our music director, Bro. Scott Wiggins, will be leading the worship in music with solo efforts, ensemble presentations, and plenty of congregational singing!
