Construction began late in September on an extension of the pulpit area and will continue throughout November.
The BSBC membership approved the construction project in August. The project addresses a number of important issues with the church auditorium. The stage/pulpit area will be greatly expanded, incorporating risers for choir purposes and electrical and signal hookups for instrumentalists. The baptistry will be raised for full congregational viewing and will be complemented with dressing rooms and showers and all-new plumbing.
Everyone is welcome to take a look at the project, as long as it is done with caution. Children in particular should be supervised with care if allowed in the area.
