Construction began late in September on an extension of the pulpit area and will continue throughout December.
The BSBC membership approved the construction project in August. The project addresses a number of important issues with the church auditorium. The stage/pulpit area was to be greatly expanded, incorporating risers for choir purposes and electrical and signal hookups for instrumentalists. The baptistry was to be raised for full congregational viewing, complemented with dressing rooms, showers, and all-new plumbing.
Everyone is welcome to take a look at the project, as long as it is done with caution. Children in particular should be supervised with care if allowed in the area.

Hey Scott, The photos do tell the story. Can’t wait to see everything finished and in perspective.
For those not familiar with BSBC, the photos show the transition from the 4-5 foot deep platform to a nearly twenty foot platform.
The last ten or so pictures are the most striking with regards to what we’re trying to do. The rest goes a long way in showing how much work it actually has been…big ups have to go to Bro. John Branning and his many helper elves (you know who you are!) for making it happen.
