BSBC Welcomes Bro. Mark Newell

After many days of prayer and seeking the Lord’s will, the congregation of Bay Springs Baptist Church resolved on August 11th to issue a call to Bro. Mark Newell to become our pastor. We are pleased to announce that he has accepted the call and is the new pastor of BSBC!

Bro. Mark has previously served as Pastor to Youth at BSBC and Algoma Baptist Church. He lives with his wife Emily and their two daughters and son in Pontotoc, MS, and works as a wildlife biologist and accounts manager with Tecomate Seed.

We ask that all members pray intently for him and his family during these days as he takes on this new phase of ministry. An ordination service will be announced soon.
